I was trying to get the font to look exactly like the Novel's front cover. But after an hour of searching and attempting to get it to look right, I gave up and used my favourite fonts instead XD
Yes, I made her blue. I hated the pink colouring of her in the Novel. But the markings match a couple of the images. Next to Rorschach, she's my favourite character. Time taken: 3-4 hours Acrylic paint, scuplty clay, and a really bad paintbrush. Bubastis is (c) Alan Moore, Dave Gibbons and DC The art is mine. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 19h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. |
